For 20 years we’ve been more than a programme. We’re a family. Whether your child is stepping onto the mat for the very first time or is a seasoned competitor, they’ll find a supportive community that values their journey as much as their achievements.

Every milestone we celebrate comes from personal growth, positive mentoring and a belief that champions are built from the inside out.

2026 · Portugal
European Summit champions
1st place for U12 and U16 hip hop, with U16 the highest-scoring hip hop team of the event.

Our story

20 years of Tycoons

  1. Jane Valentine, founder of Tycoons Allstars
    2007
    Where it all began
    Founded in Stalybridge by Jane Valentine.
  2. Smoke rising from the mill where the Tycoons gym burned down in 2018

    Our gym burns down
    A fire destroyed our gym and everything in it. Our community, local schools and cheer clubs everywhere rallied round so we could keep training.

  4. Rising again
    A new home
    With our community’s support and funding from Greater Manchester Police, we built our new gym.
  5. 2024
    Dance Worlds
    Transonic fly the flag at the IASF Dance Worlds in Florida.
  6. 2025
    Grand Champions
    Seven teams at the Nfinity Finals in Orlando: six 1st places and the Grand Champion award.
  7. 2026
    Champions of Europe
    European Summit gold, the BRITs stage, and a brand-new sprung floor.
  8. Today
    Season 20
    Jane’s daughter Vanessa, alongside Frances, leads Tycoons into its 20th season with 200+ athletes.

Joining is easy

You can join at any time of year. There’s no need to wait for a new term.

1Book a free trialEveryone gets one free trial at any class. Book it on Class for Kids.
2Come alongWear leggings, a top and comfy trainers, and bring a water bottle.
3Sign upLoved it? Book their place on Class for Kids. Fees are paid monthly by Direct Debit.
4Get your uniformAfter about four weeks, order the uniform from our Pro Shop or from Mark at the front desk. Orders are usually ready within two weeks.
